Installing the mailsystem packages
Installing the mailsystem packages
You have to install these packages:
- postfix
- cyrus-imapd
- cyrus-sasl
- cyrus-sasl-gssapi
If your distribution does not provide these packages, you'll have to compile them from source. For Suse 10.0 you can add additional package sources as described in Suse 10.0 Tips.
Editor note: Need some insight into sasl. Maybe this can help: http://www.state-of-mind.de/vortraege/cyrus_sasl_vortrag_mailserver-konferenz.pdf
